Get a Coffee 'For Here'
Save the plastic lid, cup, and straw by enjoying a cup of joe at your favorite coffee shop.
Even when you say ‘I’ll take my coffee for here’, some coffee shops will still give you a paper cup. Ask specifically for a mug and spend time enjoying every sip of your favorite coffee!
Enjoying your coffee on location has more benefits than saving a plastic lid or cup. You get some intentional time to yourself or with good friends and you can appreciate your barista’s latte art! How cool!
If we have to be on-the-go, bring your own mug! It will also keep your coffee hot for longer.
And if worst comes to worse and you forgot your travel mug and are on the run, ask for a coffee with no lid or straw and get your no-spill game on! Then, recycle the cup later. (Did you know that most paper coffee cups still have a plastic lining in the inside?!)
